Are you passionate about quality and eager to play a key role in building world-class ships and offshore solutions? We are looking for motivated Quality Assurance Coordinators to strengthen our Planning & Controlling team.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and check quality control points during production
  • Ensure that identified issues (internal or external) are solved in a timely manner
  • Take part in reviewing and improving manufacturing processes
  • Promote transparency and teamwork to ensure consistent quality standards
  • Organize handovers to clients and certification bodies according to guidelines
  • Support the collection and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Analyze data and identify areas for improvement
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Encourage quality awareness across all teams
  • Oversee quality coordination for the initial three decks of a cruise ship, including systems, switch cabinets, engines, and related installations
  • Act as the main contact for quality acceptance processes with shipowners and classification societies
Qualifications
  • Completed technical education in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, Production, Aerospace, or similar).
  • If educational background is outside the maritime field, candidate must have professional experience in shipbuilding or a closely related industry.
  • If the candidate does not have shipbuilding experience, they must hold a marine-related educational background (e.g., Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Maritime Management).
  • Several years of professional experience in quality assurance, production, or a related technical environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow up on issues until resolved.
  • Familiarity with production processes and an active interest in continuous improvement.
  • Structured and detail-oriented way of working, combined with a practical, hands-on mentality.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
  • Confidence in working with data and reporting (e.g., KPIs, process analysis).
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written); German is a plus.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
