Jobbeschreibung

Your mission
  • Drive the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of quality, food safety, and hygiene standards.

  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison to align and support company-wide quality initiatives.

  • Proactively identify and assess quality risks, manage incidents and customer complaints independently, and propose effective, preventative solutions.

  • Create and maintain HACCP plans for both existing and newly introduced products and processes.

  • Oversee and optimize microbiological design standards within the production environment.

  • Ensure accurate management of quality documentation and certifications throughout a complex, multi-tiered supply chain.

  • Conduct internal audits and support external inspections, ensuring timely implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.

  • Supervise the sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and final goods to ensure compliance and quality.

  • Operate and maintain quality control laboratory equipment to support testing and verification processes.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to uphold compliance standards and foster continuous improvement.

  • Familiarity with HACCP prerequisites, including allergen control, hold and release procedures, and supplier quality management, is highly desirable.


Your profile
  • Degree in food technology, QM, biotechnology/biology/biochemistry/biochemical engineering or equivalent

  • +2 years of experience in an analytic laboratory and/or in a manufacturing environment, preferred in food industry

  • Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Food Defense principles is desirable, while experience with ISO 22000 or IFS is considered an advantage.

  • Knowledge on HACCP prerequisites (Allergen management, hold management, supplier management) is an advantage

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and detailed information

  • Previous experience in routine analytics (e.g. HPLC, UV-Vis, GC-MS, LC-MS, Plate count, etc.), mycology as a bonus

  • Great self-organizational skills – you can multitask and are energized by working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence technical direction given previous working experience, professional background

  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

  • Business-fluent English and a minimum of conversational German required
