Job Description

The Quality Assessment Expert plays a crucial role in overseeing and performing comprehensive assessments of Metro entities globally, including Metro Countries, International Trading Offices, and FSD companies, in accordance with Metro's Global Quality Standards. This role involves evaluating compliance and quality performance, managing assessment reports, and providing actionable insights and compliance updates to top management to support strategic quality improvements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning, preparing, and conducting unannounced and announced assessments (Metro and FSD entities), serving as lead assessor.
  • Performing remote (Quality Management Systems assessments) or on-site assessments (stores, depots, FSD).
  • Aligning assessment findings with the assessed entities at the conclusion of assessments.
  • Preparing and communicating assessment reports to the SVP QA (not for own audits).
  • Tracking and achieving GQA Assessment KPIs.
  • Supporting calibration and training of assessors within the QA community (training 5-6 assessors).
  • Developing and updating assessment-related quality assurance documents (procedures, standards).
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deep knowledge of HACCP and GQA standards.
  • Experience in implementing and auditing Quality Management Systems.
  • Lead auditor certification.
  • At least 3 years of audit experience in a multinational environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
  • Self-motivated, determined, confident, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Thorough understanding of Metro QA requirements (QA Manuals and Standards).
  • Interest in international food quality and safety standards for wholesale.
  • Technical expertise in food quality and safety.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
