Payments is a core product for Cash Management and a key growth area in Deutsche Bank's strategy. To support our growth ambitions and maintain our position as a leading global player in the competitive payments market, we are investing significantly in Deutsche Bank's payment infrastructure.

The team delivers a set of key applications in the Payment Integration Platform, which serve as a single entry point for all payments across the Corporate Bank and the entire Enterprise. The monthly processing volume exceeds 100 billion payment transactions across 42 countries in Europe, APAC, and the Americas.

As a QA & Testing Lead Engineer (f/m/x), you will be responsible for defining testing strategies, developing automation frameworks, performing both functional and non-functional testing, and proposing and implementing improvements throughout the testing lifecycle, from specification and design to successful production rollout and Level 3 support.

Your key responsibilities

• Define and agree on testing plans and strategies with the Delivery Manager.
• Design and develop automated tests for new functionalities, including coding, testing, and reviewing team members' changes.
• Analyze, create proof of concepts, and implement improvements and automation for existing QA frameworks.
• Train team members on technology, frameworks, and working approaches.
• Report testing status and suggest improvements.

Your skills and experiences

• Relevant QA Lead experience with solid knowledge of QA processes and testing types.
• Hands-on experience coding and/or writing auto-tests in Java.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber, CI/CD, Kubernetes, API testing, non-functional testing; Java 8, 11.
• Strong math skills and understanding of algorithms and complexity.
• Excellent communication skills.
