QA/QC Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate work with contractors to ensure services meet sequenced requirements.
2. Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities.
3. Complete all HVAC and pipework deliverables within project and safety criteria.
4. Communicate with project team to sequence relevant installations to meet scheduled dates.
5. Assess and manage the project commercially to validate the project on handover from estimating, and proceed through to full technical procurement of all equipment, specialist sub-contractors and suppliers.
6. Assist with documenting and costing of changes to the work scopes and preparation of the monthly valuations and final account.
7. Map processes, draft control plans, and implement action plans identified as being critical for Quality Control.
8. Responsible for generating and tracking the Quality Documentation throughout the production process through to uploading to the Quality System.
9. Carrying out quality inspections for handover of completed works.

Requirements

1. 3 years’ experience in a similar role, within a mechanical or electrical contracting environment is essential.
2. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
3. Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
4. Proficient in the use of MS Suite – Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
