QA/QC MANAGER - GERMANY

We are looking for QA/QC Manager (EN).

The QA/QC Manager ensures the quality of execution of the contractor's scope of supply and services through QA/QC measures defined in the QA/QC Management Plan and its detailed versions. The QA/QC Manager monitors all quality processes during planning, execution, production, and construction at the suppliers' facilities and on site, reporting nonconformities (NCRs).

Location: Germany - 66763 Dillingen, 66333 Völklingen

Responsibilities:

1. Establish and manage a QA/QC team.
2. Plan and coordinate all QA/QC measures within the project, involving the project team.
3. Create and maintain the QA/QC management plan, its details, and associated quality processes.
4. Conduct QA/QC audits at manufacturers and suppliers.
5. Review and comment on Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for manufacturing and installation.
6. Define and coordinate inspection points within suppliers' ITPs.
7. Coordinate all QA/QC inspectors.
8. Create NCRs and follow up on corrective actions.
9. Support project managers in reporting and tracking quality deviations.
10. Document proper execution of construction work during acceptance tests and inspections, including corrective measures for quality deviations.
11. Plan and implement quality assurance measures on-site, including approvals and quality inspections.
12. Track deadlines for production processes.
13. Collaborate with sub-project managers to plan quality assurance and deadline tracking.
14. Carry out quality assurance activities throughout the production of components.
15. Coordinate quality assurance activities with internal and external project participants.
16. Identify and implement necessary quality assurance measures during production.
17. Perform random monitoring and testing of work execution, documenting activities like welding, measuring, aligning, coating, electrical engineering, etc., involving relevant specialists as needed.
18. Prepare monitoring reports, track deadlines, and manage NCRs and defect rectifications.
19. Organize and lead meetings with project participants.

Requirements:

• Experience in welding technology (welding technician or specialist).
• Welding quality inspector certification, if applicable.
• QA specialist for foundries, if applicable.
• Coating inspector certification.
• Pressure equipment specialist, if applicable.
• Certification in VT, RT, PT, UT, and MT according to ISO 9712 (NDT).
• Proof of management competence for teams up to 8 members.
• SHE examination of operational managers, if applicable.
