At TechBiz Global, we provide recruitment services to our TOP clients from our portfolio. We are currently seeking a Python Engineer to join one of our clients' teams in Prague. What you will do:

1. Develop and maintain Python applications.
2. Deliver solid and maintainable software.
3. Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
4. Implement, review, support, and debug the required scope.
5. Write technical specifications and define project architecture.
6. Write unit tests and integration tests.
7. Participate in code reviews.
8. Engage in verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

The tech stack is continually evolving, but currently includes:

• Languages: Python
• Tools: Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, AWS, Grafana, Firebase

Methodologies: Agile, Scrum; 14-day sprints and stand-ups held online via Slack.

Job requirements:

• At least 4-5 years of experience as a Software Developer.
• Experience with fintech processes and preferably cards issuing/processing.
• Knowledge of clean coding methodologies (SOLID, YAGNI).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Unix/bash scripting.
• Ability to write understandable and maintainable code in multiple languages.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Good understanding of Django.
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams is an advantage.
