WePlan Software is a dynamic startup focused on developing and delivering innovative tools for strategic and operational manpower planning. We're experiencing steady growth beyond our established client base in the travel, transport, and logistics sector.

Join our thriving engineering team as a passionate backend developer. In this role, you will work within our full-stack team, contributing to various aspects of our work.

Responsibilities

• Algorithms/data science: Embrace the daily challenge of crafting efficient data processing pipelines with state-of-the-art frameworks and cloud technology while ensuring rigorous test coverage.
• Architecture: Collaborate closely with our backend and dev-ops teams to design adaptable and robust system architectures integrated into our existing cloud-based infrastructure.
• Requirements: Employ requirements engineering techniques to gather insights from our customers and consultants, skillfully weaving them into our application.

About you

• You're passionate about modern Python in a web and data science context, ideally bringing expertise with libraries like Pandas/Polars, Flask, SQLAlchemy, or Pytest. Simultaneously, you're pragmatic and open to exploring other technologies.
• You bring experience in — or a willingness to learn about — cloud architecture and development, frontend development, or CI/CD.
• Your academic background includes a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field, ideally with a focus on software engineering or data science.
• You're passionate about crafting software that's both elegant and delightful to use.
• You're fluent in spoken and written English. German language skills are a plus.
