For our client, a famous company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Purchase Operations Specialist (m/f/d) – Oracle ERP.

Scope of the role:

Due to the increasing volume of PCB qualification activities, additional administrative support is required within the Sourcing & Engineering teams. The position will primarily be responsible for creating purchase requisitions in Oracle, tracking purchase orders, coordinating with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), and following up on and documenting ongoing qualification activities.

The main objective of this role is to relieve the Sourcing and Engineering teams of administrative and coordination-related tasks, allowing them to focus more strongly on technical qualifications and prioritization decisions.

Given the predominantly administrative and operational nature of the role, the position is intended to support the day-to-day execution of purchasing and qualification activities rather than strategic sourcing or technical decision-making.

• Cross functional collaboration with Suppliers & Contract Manufacturers & Internal departments such as R&D, Sourcing, Product Engineering.
• Support requisition creation, PO tracking and management for qualification activities
• Stakeholder management with active and continuous follow-ups for qualification status and reports and drive alignment on qualification priorities and resources
• Maintain and update project management tools like JIRA to align, track and report qualification status, risks, and performance metrics.
• Monitor open qualifications, material receiving’s, bottle necks, completion rate and risk levels
• Supporting process standardization and improvement activities for qualification workflows and tracking methods.
• Bachelor/Master’s degree or University Degree or equivalent with the subjects of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Material Science or similar
• know-how of PCB’s, memories and other electrical/electronic components recommended.
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP and Jira.
• Team player, experienced in working cross functional
• Superior communication skills (cross-functional, supply chain, cross-cultural) across hierarchy levels
• Proactive working style, and ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel
• Self-motivated, self-management, setting proper priorities
• fluent written and oral communication skills in English (German language skills would be a plus)
