As a Public Funding Manager (f / m / d) you will be an essential part of our team and take over the administrative handling of funding projects.deeply

Type of position : Full-time, Fixed-term contract (1-year)

Project Management : Lead ongoing projects operationally, and ensure the completion of project technical deliverables and financial & regulatory compliance. Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.

Ongoing Project reporting : Prepare and submit technical and financial reports according to contractual requirements. Be the contact person between funding agencies and LiveEO.

Liaison with tech and business teams : Understand the in-house research and development at LiveEO and match upcoming funding opportunities to suitable projects. Collaborate with the tech, business and finance team to understand project requirements.

New funding acquisition : Coordinate in acquiring research and development projects, identifying funding opportunities and submitting proposals. Prepare and complete applications and coordinate required documentation.

Your profile

• Self-motivation : Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once, with high flexibility and prioritization skills.
• Strong communication skills : Ability to interpret and explain requirements and goals of projects (tech and business) and to find solutions between multiple teams.
• Attention to detail : Understanding project reporting instructions and requirements to fulfill contractual obligations. Proficiency in handling administrative tasks such as email management, timetracking, and invoicing.
• Experience from multi-stakeholder research projects and / or familiarity with public funding bodies such as the European Space Agency or Horizon Europe.
• Ability to quickly learn new technical topics and experience writing and confidently presenting technical material (in English and ideally in German).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a team as well as on their own (be self-sufficient).
• German skills at B2+ level is a plus.
• Interest in the aerospace industry is a plus.
