Jobbeschreibung

The Simulation Facilitator provides technical expertise for the setup, configuration, operation, and troubleshooting of military command and control-related clients and software tools. Individuals shall provide technical expertise on the simulation-stimulation of the systems, including the employment of simulations and/or gaming systems that stimulate command and control systems. Supports the preparation, execution, and recovery of systems to support exercise control. Provides instruction to personnel as designated by the exercise/event lead to meet individual and unit training objectives. Due to the nature of this work and location, we will be conducting ongoing interviews while this position is contingent upon award.

How Your Role Will Make an Impact:

  1. Utilize experience and skills from the extensive use of live, virtual, constructive, and gaming simulations per Army doctrine for training across various Army branches.
  2. Operate simulation clients and provide functional support and feedback during events.
  3. Support the technical systems, including writing exercise support plans and identifying personnel requirements.
  4. Recover and reconsolidate all systems after exercises to ensure 100% functionality.
  5. Test, maintain, and store command and control, simulation, and gaming systems.
  6. Provide support to military and civilian personnel in operating command and control and supporting simulation systems.
  7. Support the After Action Review collection and presentation process.
  8. Contribute to exercise design and technical planning products.
  9. Provide technical expertise in setup, configuration, testing, training, operation, and troubleshooting of simulation, gaming, and mission command information systems.
  10. Assist in system database development and advise on the use of command and control, simulation, and gaming systems to meet training objectives.
  11. Configure IT stations and related systems.
  12. Support setup, transition, and breakdown for training activities.
  13. Participate in training, seminars, conferences, planning events, site surveys, and exercise support activities.
  14. Perform IT quality assurance and provide feedback to network administrators.
  15. Document and update processes, including training and certification programs.
  16. Perform tasks under deadlines and work extended hours, including 12-hour shifts, day or night.
  17. Support the setup and recovery of exercise equipment and furniture as required.
  18. Develop assessments for exercise design, planning, and review processes.
