Black Engineers of Canada (BEC) is a Non for Profit Professional Organization geared towards providing a safe environment for Black Engineers where they can aspire and become a better version of themselves. We empower and uplift the Black Engineers community, including youth and aspiring engineers, by advocating for equitable opportunities, enhancing living conditions, and promoting mental health improvement. We achieve this through robust mentorship programs, impactful networking events, innovative educational initiatives, safe spaces for difficult conversations, and dedicated research efforts. We are committed to leveraging all our human and financial resources towards realizing a stronger, and more inclusive community.
We are searching for a Provincial Partnership Champion - Manitoba (Volunteer) who will handle the key responsibilities by dedicating 10 hours weekly of volunteer time.
The Provincial Partnership Champion - Manitoba (Volunteer) plays a strategic ambassador role by identifying, cultivating, and supporting partnerships that advance the organization’s mission. This role focuses on relationship-building with corporate partners, government departments, community organizations, foundations, and stakeholders to strengthen the organization’s impact, sustainability, and visibility.
