PowerCo SE: The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley, we are starting our own battery cell production and ramping up our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization is responsible for battery cell development, including research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing, and analysis of battery cells.

How you will CELLebrate
  1. Develop future cell chemistries on a laboratory scale: "Transfer ideas into first hardware"
  2. Plan, conduct, and coordinate experiments in the cell development laboratory
  3. Produce slurries, cell components, and prototype cells in the development process
  4. Evaluate, develop, and take responsibility for innovative manufacturing processes from laboratory to pilot scale, such as mixing, coating, calendering, and cell assembly
  5. Chemical, physical, and electrochemical characterization of cell components
  6. Develop internal standards for quality measures within the manufacturing process
What you need for our CELLebration
  1. University degree e.g., in chemistry, electrochemistry, material science, physics, process engineering, chemical engineering, or comparable qualification
  2. Deep knowledge of battery materials and substantiated experience in electrode development and cell assembly
  3. Interdependent and responsible work skills
  4. Strong and collaborative team player
  5. Enjoy creative work
  6. Very good communication skills in English
What else can you bring
  1. Preferably a PhD in the field of lithium-ion batteries
  2. Basic communication skills in German
