We are seeking a Protection and Resilience Manager (m/f/d), based in Munich, with applications also accepted from other European and UK locations such as Paris, Rotterdam, Madrid, and London.

Your Team

You will join a global team responsible for COO Operational Resilience and Core Applications, including Protection & Resilience, Information Security, Supplier Risk Management, and Core Applications.

The Impact You Will Have

As a Protection and Resilience Manager, you will lead the implementation and effectiveness of the Protection and Resilience framework across Allianz Commercial. Working as Product Owner with our Agile operational resilience team, you will define and manage epics, oversee risks to locations, employees, and processes, and handle functions such as Business Continuity, Physical Security, Crisis Management, and External Fraud, including regulatory reporting.

Your role involves monitoring oversight functions, incident management, strategy alignment, and stakeholder collaboration, including with local management and the Allianz Group. You will also manage regulatory incident reporting processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and overseeing Protection & Resilience functions.
• Implementing and evaluating the Protection & Resilience framework.
• Aligning strategies across Protection & Resilience domains.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining documentation.
• Facilitating audits, reviews, and resource allocation.
• Updating policies to reflect regulatory changes and best practices.
• Managing incident reporting, crisis exercises, and threat assessments.
• Serving as the Protection & Resilience product owner, defining change epics within the Agile setup.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Expertise in risk management, crisis management, or business continuity.
• Experience responding to security incidents and crises.
• Proven leadership in complex organizations.
• Knowledge of Protection & Resilience standards (e.g., ISO).
• Experience working with C-level executives and Boards.
• Incident management skills and provider handling capabilities.
• Proficiency in incident management processes.
• Ability to uphold ethical AI practices and stay updated on emerging AI technologies.
