Zusammenfassung

OHB-System AG in Bremen seeks a Propulsion Systems engineer focused on EP propulsion for the development of new space projects in the realization phase. You will co-ordinate propulsion requirements within the satellite team and with subcontractors, while managing procurement activities with support from OHB's central procurement organization.

The role involves size and design support for subsystems, developing verification philosophy, and generating technical documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in aerospace engineering, physics or comparable qualification.
• Ideally some years of professional experience in space industry in the EP propulsion domain.
• Excellent conceptual and analytical skills.
• Accustomed to work in teams with well-developed communication skills.
• Test experience would be of advantage.
• Experience in Systems Engineering and Requirements Engineering.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; German language skills are advantageous.

Your Tasks

• Propulsion Systems engineer (focus is EP) for the development of new space projects in the realization phase
• As part of the satellite team, co-ordination of propulsion requirements and technical interfaces within the satellite platform and with the subcontractor
• Technical management of procurement activities for equipment (Thruster, PPU, Flow Control) from suppliers, with support by the OHB's central procurement organization
• Performing analyses to size and support design of the subsystem
• Development of adequate verification philosophy on subsystem and equipment level, incl. specification of test requirements for platform testing
• Generation of technical documentation, e.g. specifications, analyses, reports
• Planning, coordination and control of design and analysis activities
• Support to subsystem MAIT activities and LEOP phase
• Support proposal activities
• Support associated technology developments
