Job summary

SoftProject GmbH is seeking a (Junior) Project Manager (m/w/d) to support and eventually own customer implementation projects across the full lifecycle. You will coordinate activities between customers, consultants and internal teams, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while building strong client relationships.

The role requires at least 3 years in project management, a degree in a related field, and fluency in German with good English; French is a plus.

• 3+ years of professional experience in project management, preferably in software/IT/digital transformation or implementation projects.
• Excellent German skills and good English communication; French is a plus.
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and gradually take ownership of customer implementation projects through the entire lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, testing, go-live, handover to support.
• Coordinate project activities among customers, consultants, developers, support teams, and stakeholders.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, deliverables and quality objectives.
• Build trusted relationships with customer project managers and contribute to project success.
• Identify risks and support mitigation measures.
• Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops and status reviews.
• Prepare project plans, status reports, presentations and project documentation.
• Ensure transparent communication between all stakeholders.
• Contribute to a collaborative, solution-oriented project environment.

What you can expect:

What were looking for:

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in project management, preferably within software, IT, digital transformation, or implementation projects.
• A degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Alternatively, equivalent professional experience gained through a technical or business background.
• Experience coordinating project activities, stakeholders, or project teams.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to build strong professional relationships.
• Excellent German skills and good English communication skills; fluency in French is highly desirable.
