Job summary

SoftProject GmbH is looking for a (Junior) Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Ettlingen. You will support and gradually take ownership of customer implementation projects across the full lifecycle, coordinating with customers, consultants, developers and support teams.

Requirements include at least 3 years in project management in software/IT, a degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering or a comparable field, fluent German and good English; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional PM experience in software/IT/digital transformation or implementation projects.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience coordinating project activities, stakeholders, or project teams.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to build strong professional relationships.
• Excellent German skills and good English communication; fluency in French is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and gradually take ownership of customer implementation projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, testing, go-live, and handover to Customer Support.
• Coordinate project activities between customers, consultants, developers, support teams, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and quality objectives.
• Build trusted relationships with customer project managers and actively contribute to project success.
• Identify potential project risks and support the implementation of mitigation measures.
• Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and status reviews.
• Prepare project plans, status reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Ensure transparent communication between all project stakeholders.
• Contribute to a collaborative and solution-oriented project environment.

• Experience coordinating project activities, stakeholders, or project teams.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
