From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

Could you be the full-time Project Supply Chain Leader (f/m/d) in Kassel we’re looking for?

Your Future Role

More than 35,000 locomotives have already travelled the world from Kassel. At Alstom's traditional site in Kassel, in addition to new construction, service for the well-known Traxx locomotive platform is playing an increasingly important role. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Site Supply Chain Director and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

We’ll look for you to:

  1. Develop and implement Supply Chain strategies tailored to project requirements
  2. Ensure alignment between Supply Chain operations and project timelines
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables
  4. Identify and mitigate risks within the Supply Chain process
  5. Manage supplier and customer relationships effectively

All About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  1. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. Experience or understanding of Supply Chain processes in a manufacturing environment
  3. Proficiency in German and English
  4. Familiarity with supplier/customer relationship management
  5. Knowledge of project management principles and practices
  6. Adaptability to work in a dynamic project-driven setting

Things You’ll Enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  1. Experience a dynamic work environment with a permanent position at a leading company for green mobility
  2. Enjoy a competitive remuneration package (IG Metall), 30 days of vacation, and benefits such as company pension plans and subsidized “Deutschlandticket” (Job Ticket)
  3. Work in a tradition-rich site with excellent public transportation access and free car parking
  4. Optimise work-life balance with flexible working hours and hybrid working models
  5. Explore growth opportunities and steer your career across functions and countries
  6. Benefit from excellent training opportunities through our award-winning Alstom University and participate in the company's innovation culture through idea management programmes
  7. Thrive in a modern and collaborative workplace featuring mentor and buddy programs, diversity & inclusion initiatives, CSR activities, and engaging employee events
  8. Access to corporate benefits

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

As an employer, Alstom stands for equal opportunities. By creating an inclusive work environment where all employees are encouraged to realise their full potential, individual differences are valued and respected. All applicants are considered solely on the basis of their qualifications, regardless of skin colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, ethnic and national origin, disability or other legally protected characteristics.
