The HCL Software is looking for Consulting Sales Leader (CSL) who can lead customer programs that accelerate business outcomes. The CSL is a trusted advisor for our customers who can drive strategic and financial value for customers through promoting and selling transformational professional services programs leveraging HCL Software. The CSL leads all aspects of business development, deal structuring, deal support and ensures delivery excellence and project closure in their assigned accounts or territories.

  • Wins net new consulting implementation business.
  • Develops and manages a sales strategy to drive new consulting pipeline, and achieve booking targets in an industry or set of accounts.
  • Manages sales pursuits from opportunity to closure by qualifying the lead, developing a deal strategy and directing the pursuit team to build a differentiated solution that solves the customers' problems.
  • Ensures a consistent cadence of touchpoints across aligned software industry to build deep relationships and maintain a healthy pipeline with software sellers.
  • Influences software sales deal outcomes by serving as the implementation expert on joint pursuits ensuring software includes services and outcomes.
  • Helps eliminate risk for both HCL Software and the client by effectively negotiating and clearly documenting contract scope, assumptions, terms & conditions.
  • Ensures maintenance and accuracy of key financial metrics - pipeline, forecast, bookings, attach, etc.
  • Advises / guides customers in project vision / charter creation, implementation strategy, controlling customizations, implementation best practices, change management.

Basic Qualifications :

  • At least 8 years of experience in a Client Partner role or similar consulting services sales experience, including 5 years of consulting experience and 2 years of project management leadership experience.
  • Enterprise software / services selling AND implementation / delivery skills, including Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with DXP platforms such as HCL DX, Sitecore, or Adobe Experience Platform.
  • Experience working within a Software vendor expert services or software services business, an asset.
