Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Mannheim is seeking a Quality Project Specialist to support project quality across the value chain. You will lead quality initiatives, collaborate with customers, and coach teams to improve processes and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a university degree in engineering or quality management and 5+ years in project or quality-related roles. German fluency and strong English are required, with travel about 10% of the time.

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt knowledge is a plus.

• Willing to travel to offices and project locations (~10%).

• Plan QA activities and decide schedules, estimates, and budgets for quality tasks.

• Cooperating with the customer on Project Quality issues and ensuring ownership of actions to resolve it. Enabling and coaching all project team members to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder point of view
• Analyzing transferability of experience between projects as well as planning Quality Assurance activities to reduce all forms of risk. Collaborating with the project team to develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality activities
• Applying project quality procedures and plans and ensuringappropriate implementationand compliance from the project team
• Certifying effective internal controls system (project, supply, site) is in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements,validatingthat control plans are applied and effective in mitigating prioritized risks
• Performing audits on project delivery and ensuring the use of Quality data analytics in all aspects of the operation toidentifyrisks, failures and nonconformances within the local business, itssuppliersand customers. Ensuring thatappropriate correctiveand preventive actions are taken, and solutions are managed toclosure
