By joining the GI Service team in Germany (GI Service) you are responsible for carrying out the planned maintenance and servicing work of the automation, communication and safety systems as well as all other electrotechnical systems on converter stations as well as offshore platforms.
High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) is a key enabler for a carbon-neutral energy system. It is highly efficient for transmitting large amounts of electricity over long distances, integration of renewables and interconnecting grids, opening for new sustainable transmission solutions.
In the field of service for high-voltage direct current transmission systems (HVDC), you will be part of our HVDC service team (DEHVDC) and responsible for carrying out the planned maintenance and servicing work of the automation, communication and safety systems as well as all other electrotechnical systems on converter stations as well as offshore platforms.
The fascinating and challenging projects are in Germany and several other countries e.g. Democratic Republic of Congo and in the North- and Baltic Sea.
