Job Description:

Position:

Project Procurement Manager (m/f/d) in Oberpfaffenhofen

Your Tasks:

• Act as the main responsible for all procurement activities within a core project team.
• Initiate, coordinate, implement, and monitor procurement of equipment and subsystems for a satellite project.
• Select suitable suppliers and subcontractors through negotiation, open, or restricted competition.
• Lead a team of subcontract managers, establish tender documentation, and manage tender evaluation.
• Participate in boards with or without the customer, support in preparing ATPs, LOLs, and order letters, negotiate change requests, and oversee contract change management activities.
• Visit suppliers across Europe and worldwide, participate in project reviews and progress meetings.
• Report progress and status to the project manager and line manager.

Your Qualifications:

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualifications.
• Several years of project management experience, especially in financial and contract management, preferably in the space industry.
• Technical affinity to understand technical requirements.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and self-confidence.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, business-oriented thinking.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
