Summary

We are seeking a “Project Manager Test System Development (f/m/d)” for the “Test Systems” department at our Ulm site, available immediately. The department designs, develops, constructs, and integrates production and customer testers for radar, electronic warfare, and avionics systems across various vehicles, aircraft, helicopters, and ships. The test systems are automated, utilizing test managers like TestStand, LabVIEW, LabWindows, or programmed in C++.

Your Tasks

  • Manage projects for test systems, including planning deadlines and budgets, and controlling service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with economic goals and technical specifications
  • Design test systems based on customer requirements, considering standard components
  • Define the test system architecture and create related documentation
  • Specify subsystems, modules, hardware, and software within the project team
  • Serve as the interface to internal customers
  • Create internal offers
  • Supervise subcontractors in collaboration with purchasing

Willingness to travel for business is required.

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in natural sciences, engineering, or comparable fields
  • Solid knowledge in developing test systems
  • Basic understanding of high-frequency technology and/or optronics is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of systems
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Proficiency in German and English
