About the role

The department leads the development of BMW's current and next generation Software Platform for automated driving. You will be responsible for the base system, including the operating system, middleware, and system functions on which all autonomous driving functionalities are built.

Your responsibilities

• Work within the project management group for platform software
• Experience 0-2 years
• Coordinate, plan, align, and monitor your project topics and processes with all partners within your responsibility
• Support the development of tools, processes, and methods to manage the Software Platform projects
• Plan work packages and coordinate them
• Develop roadmaps for your topics
• Ensure cross-domain communication of current project topics, identify weak points, recognize problems, and proactively initiate improvements
• Ensure the quality of deliverables
• Serve as the central contact for the department and project leads within your PM scope

Your profile

• University degree in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field
• Experience in Agile and traditional software development processes, with experience in organizing distributed automotive software projects and embedded software development
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is desirable
• Analytical thinking and a structured, goal-oriented work style
• Enjoy continuous process improvement and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
