Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide PMO support for small to mid-sized IT and digitalization projects within a structured public sector environment. The role is focused on ensuring timeline, budget, and quality adherence while coordinating planning, documentation, and communication activities across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support adherence to project schedules, cost targets, and quality standards
• Assist in creating and updating project plans, including change and risk documentation
• Identify and manage interdependencies between project tasks and workstreams
• Ensure quality control of project documentation
• Maintain and track project tasks and tickets using tools such as Jira
• Prepare meeting minutes, project communications, and workshop materials
• Provide administrative support to project leadership and contribute to workshop execution
• Develop communication plans and ensure project transparency
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT, business administration, or a related field (or a comparable vocational training with 3+ years of professional experience)
• Basic knowledge of project management standards (e.g., GPM, PMI, PRINCE2)
• Familiarity with ITIL principles
• Language: German C1, English B1 (according to CEFR)
  
  

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 years of project-related experience in IT or digital transformation, ideally in a public or regulated sector
• At least 1 year in a project management role
• Proven experience with Jira or similar PM tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
