Job summary

SPORTFIVE in Hamburg seeks a results-driven PMO Project Manager to lead and coordinate initiatives across our international sports business. You will support project teams, manage plans, timelines, costs, and resources in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The role offers flexible working options (full-time, part-time, or job-sharing), a hands-on, proactive culture, and opportunities to grow with established PM methodologies while partnering with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in project management or PMO environments.
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
• Interest in developing PM skills; certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication in English and German.
• Structured, organized working style with hands-on mentality.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and sub-projects from setup to implementation.
• Coordinate plans, timelines, costs and resources.
• Collaborate with internal SPORTFIVE teams and external partners.
• Document project results and support regular reporting processes.
• Monitor progress, risks, and issues; support escalation procedures.
• Deliver standard projects and ensure their success.
• Apply PM methodologies and contribute to best practice adoption.
• Bring organizational skills to strengthen the PMO team.

YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE

• Manage projects and sub-projects - from setup and planning to implementation

What You’ll Bring

• Professional experience in project management (e.g. consulting, project coordination, PMO or similar environment)
• Good knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
• Interest in further developing project management skills - certifications are a plus
• Strong communication in english and german
• Structured and organized working style with a hands-on mentality
• Motivation to develop professionally and take ownership of tasks
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while seeking guidance where needed
• Intercultural awareness and openness to working in an international environment
