Summary

We are looking for a project manager for missile warning systems (f/m/d) at the Taufkirchen site for the "OMNI Detection" department. The department handles product management of passive missile and laser warning systems mainly for military platforms, along with related international customer and internal development projects.

The interdisciplinary project teams include members from finance, engineering, purchasing, quality, configuration management, production, and sales, operating in both national and international environments to meet project goals and acquire new projects and customers.

Your Tasks

1. Handling national and international customer projects related to missile warning systems for flying platforms.
2. Managing and coordinating all stakeholders involved in the project across different organizational units and countries.
3. Achieving project goals concerning costs, timelines, and quality, including proactive risk and opportunity management.
4. Initiating and controlling measures necessary for project success.
5. Supporting strategic planning and implementation to develop products, expand market share, and realize future concepts.
6. Assisting in the creation of offers and acquiring new international business.
7. Contributing to a positive team environment and strong corporate culture.

Your Profile

1. University degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or business management, with several years of project management experience.
2. Ability to work independently, solution-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
3. Experience working within international teams and interfacing with various organizational units and clients.
4. Confident in negotiations and interactions within military and international environments.
5. Experience managing complex military projects with multiple subcontractors.
6. Proficiency in preparing offers and negotiating contracts internationally.
7. Knowledge of aerospace and defense, especially self-protection systems, is preferred.
8. Fluent in German and English.
