Overview

Project manager (m/f/x) for cross-functional engineering projects fluent in technical Japanese and English

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage international technical projects
• Support building up solution business with our Japanese parent company Mitsui Chemicals in cooperation with the COO, the team leader and the engineers
• Coordinate and moderate on engineering topics such as CAD, CAE, E&S, software development etc. to stakeholders in the projects
• Interpreting for Japanese - English in technical and other meetings
• Pushing and coordination of internal change and process management
• Support internal strategy development and implementation within and, where appropriate, across our shareholder's solutions business
• Prepare management and project presentations, which you will present in Japanese and English to customers and stakeholders
• Hybrid working at home office and at our location in Munich possible

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, physics, mathematics, material science, chemistry or related disciplines
• Experience in either CAD/CAE E&S or software development
• Full professional proficiency in Japanese and English including knowledge of basic technical terms and willingness to continually improve your technical English and technical Japanese
• Understanding of Japanese business practices and diplomatic skills
• Experience in Project Management
• Team player with an open mind and an international orientation
• Willingness for business trips to Japan
