Job summary

Exyte is seeking an experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) to independently lead complex projects in industrial plant engineering. You will coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality assurance, and site installation to drive projects from quotation through successful completion, including meetings and technical discussions with customers.

You bring a degree in engineering, several years of PM experience in plant/mechanical engineering, strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or comparable technical qualification.
• Several years of experience in project management, ideally in plant/ mechanical engineering or an industrial environment.
• Strong organizational skills with a structured, solution-oriented working style.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support projects and oversee sites.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and oversee projects from quotation phase to successful completion.
• Plan and coordinate personnel, materials, resources, and subcontractors for on-time execution.
• Monitor progress, costs, quality, and schedules; provide regular reports to stakeholders.
• Act as main point of contact for customers; conduct meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Site Installation.
• Perform project reviews, track invoicing activities, and ensure project closure.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Independently manage and oversee projects from the quotation phase through to successful project completion
• Plan and coordinate personnel, materials, resources, and subcontractors to ensure on-time project execution
• Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and schedules, and provide regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, including conducting meetings, presentations, and technical discussions
• Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Site Installation
• Perform project reviews, track invoicing activities, and ensure successful project closure

Show your expertise

• Degree in Engineering or a comparable technical qualification with relevant professional experience
• Several years of experience in project management, ideally within plant engineering, mechanical engineering, or an industrial environment
• Strong organizational skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented working style
• Confident appearance with excellent communication and negotiation skills when dealing with customers and internal stakeholders
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support projects and oversee customers and construction sites on site
• Business-fluent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
