Job Description:
As part of a global transformation initiative, the RIB Group is transitioning to dual GAAP reporting (IFRS and US-GAAP) and enhancing its financial controls to meet US compliance standards. To support this effort, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager (m/f) Financial Reporting to lead the successful delivery of this transformation within RIB, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, robust financial governance, and timely execution.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with an overarching Program Manager to create and manage the overall program plan for RIB.
- Lead the successful delivery of the RIB program in alignment with the broader group strategy.
- Coordinate delivery sub-teams (including third-party vendors) and engage key stakeholders across the RIB organization.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships to foster effective collaboration.
- Track and manage overall program progress, including metrics, risks, issues, and corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide transparent updates on project status, milestones, and challenges.
- Clearly communicate changes, highlighting benefits and requirements to support team engagement and commitment to program success.
- Organize and facilitate key project activities, such as kick-offs, team meetings, decision-making sessions, and internal communications.
- Coordinate and integrate multiple interdependent projects, optimizing resource allocation and aligning efforts with other workstream leads to ensure program-wide consistency.
- Provide direction and guidance to team members, supporting them in making informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the program budget, including cost control and resource planning to ensure financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Business Studies; focus on Finance & Accounting, a qualified accountant qualification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project or Program Manager within an international matrix organization, with a proven record of driving transformational change.
- Ability to lead the execution of complex projects, delivering within defined deadlines and budgets, with solid knowledge of IFRS, US-GAAP, HGB, etc.
- Experience in risk/assurance, either directly or through program roles (preferred).
- Experience in coordinating third-party vendors, managing contracts, collaborating with internal partners, and engaging stakeholders.

- Demonstrated capability to identify and mitigate delivery risks, as well as resolve issues and unblock delivery challenges.
- Strong prioritization and decision-making skills, including during periods of ambiguity and flux.
- Proactive “self-starter” with a "can do" attitude and "hands-on" mentality.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret and clearly convey information, deliver concise recommendations, and interact with stakeholders at various levels, including senior management.
- Ability to build and lead multi-disciplinary/cross-functional teams, managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience in leading transformations and navigating ambiguity with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Very good English language skills (Level C1/C2).
- Good or very good German language skills (Level B2-C2).
