Job summary

Bishop GmbH in Hamburg seeks a Project Manager (m/f/d) to plan, procure, commission and modify process-engineering production systems and equipment at national and international sites.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, apply standard PM methodologies, track costs, quality and schedules, analyze existing systems and push automation to improve capacity, while advising internal clients on operations. This role offers a dynamic aerospace environment and international travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• University degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, production engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in project management and the conceptualization of technical solutions for industrial plant engineering.
• Strong knowledge of environmental protection, as well as product and operational safety regulations (e.g., BImSchG, TA Luft, AwSV, Machinery Directive/Regulation, ProdSG, BetrSichV, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
• Analytical and conceptual thinking and approach.
• Professional experience in project management and/or industrial engineering.
• Proficiency with standard IT/computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Planning, procurement, commissioning, and modification of process-engineering production systems, machinery, and operational equipment.
• Management of infrastructure projects, such as the procurement and integration of complex, high-value machinery and equipment at national and international sites.
• Cross-functional coordination between planning engineers, client representatives, suppliers, internal staff departments, etc.
• Application of standard project management methodologies, including tracking of costs, quality, and schedules.
• Analysis and potential further development of existing systems.
• Automation of technical processes to ensure optimal capacity utilization.
• Providing support and consultation to internal clients regarding operational equipment, machinery, and systems.

For our clients in the aerospace industry, we are seeking motivated candidates for a position based in Hamburg, Germany, to be filled immediately via temporary employment (staff leasing).

Job Profile

• Planning, procurement, commissioning, and modification of process-engineering production systems, machinery, and operational equipment (e.g., cleaning systems, wastewater treatment plants, electroplating facilities, etc.)
• Management of infrastructure projects, such as the procurement and integration of complex, high-value machinery and equipment at national and international LHT (Lufthansa Technik) sites
• Cross-functional coordination between planning engineers, client representatives, suppliers, internal staff departments, etc.
• Application of standard project management methodologies, including the tracking of costs, quality, and schedules
• Analysis and potential further development of existing systems
• Automation of technical processes to ensure optimal capacity utilization
• Providing support and consultation to internal clients regarding operational equipment, machinery, and systems
