Job summary

SPORTFIVE is seeking a proactive PMO professional to join our Hamburg PMO team, driving structured project delivery in a dynamic, international sports marketing setting.

You will coordinate plans, timelines, costs and resources, collaborate with internal and external teams, and help document outcomes while applying established PM methodologies. Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in project management or PMO environments.
• Good knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
• Certifications in PM disciplines are a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and German.
• Structured and organized working style with a hands-on mindset.
• Motivation to develop professionally and take ownership.
• Ability to work independently and seek guidance when needed.
• Intercultural awareness and openness to international environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and sub-projects from setup to implementation.
• Coordinate project plans, timelines, costs and resources.
• Collaborate with internal SPORTFIVE teams and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Contribute to documentation and regular reporting of project results.
• Monitor progress, risks, and issues and support escalation procedures.
• Deliver standard projects and ensure their success.
• Apply PM methodologies and contribute to best practice adoption across projects.
• Bring organizational skills and a proactive mindset to strengthen the PMO team.

YOUR ROLE AT A GLANCE

• Professional experience in project management (e.g. consulting, project coordination, PMO or similar environment)
• Good knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
• Interest in further developing project management skills - certifications are a plus
• Strong communication in english and german
• Structured and organized working style with a hands-on mentality
• Motivation to develop professionally and take ownership of tasks
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while seeking guidance where needed
• Intercultural awareness and openness to working in an international environment
