Job Description :

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing FTTH projects from A to Z within Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia region), in an international context. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, both internal and external (suppliers), to successfully complete projects within scope and budget. You will regularly be on-site at the client's location in Germany for coordination and meetings, and occasionally in Hasselt for internal meetings.

Responsibilities :

Technical & Commercial Expert :

• Process incoming leads in collaboration with the leadership team.
• Identify customer needs and translate them into a technical proposal.
• Own the governance model and be responsible for setting up schedules, budgets, and risk analyses.
• Act as the main point of contact for the client during project execution, ensuring projects are completed within scope and budget.

People Manager / Leader :

• Inspire and motivate colleagues, discover talents, and provide open and constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
• Be a true people manager, with an eye for each individual in the team and the ability to develop and empower them.
• Be responsible for the correct execution of projects.
• Manage and supervise the international project team within multidisciplinary projects using external subcontractors and / or suppliers.
• Have experience with commonly used industry standards for project management methodologies.
• Regularly communicate with the client and make adjustments as needed during project meetings and decision-making moments.
• Report regularly on the current status and ongoing processes to the leadership team during product reviews.

Your Qualifications :

• You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent through experience.
• You have experience managing projects, preferably in the telecom sector.
• You have basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Geostruct, QGIS, ArcGIS, Comsoft,...).
• You are willing to travel to Belgium occasionally for meetings.
• Preferably, you have commercial experience or are willing to develop in this area.
• You possess strong communication skills for team management and networking with internal and external stakeholders.
• You have strong analytical skills.

• You are fluent in German and also speak either English or Dutch.
