What you'll do

We seek an experienced Project Manager (f/m/d)to oversee and drive critical system builds for a strategic customer

As a Senior Build Project Manager (f/m/d), you will join a large migration project involving over 100 systems moving to SAP RISE. Your main responsibility will be leading system builds, primarily brownfield builds, for the RISE transformation. This includes gathering requirements, final handovers to the client and following agreed processes. You will use SAP internal tools, Jira, the MS Office Suite, etc., to plan system builds, monitor execution, ensure requirements are met, address issues promptly, and maintain open communication with stakeholders. Additionally, you will drive cutover planning for ECS activities and identify risks, developing mitigation strategies

You will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including migration teams, technical landscape owners, build-teams, and customer counterparts. You will also contribute to improving build processes, optimizing downtime, and enhancing stakeholder collaboration.

What you bring

• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate project plans and status between customer, engagement teams, technical & operations teams, and senior management
• Experience in driving complex projects with end-to-end responsibility (certifications are a plus) and understanding of migration projects
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management and experience in working as key contact for customer communication
• SAP basis and technical experience with cloud and hybrid landscapes (both technical and architectural) and cloud-relevant technologies (hypervisor, storage, cloud specific backup, etc.).
• Understanding of ECS processes/delivery of managed cloud services/practices for cloud-based architectures.
• Ability to adapt in changing requirements/conditions and have problem-solving skills and ability to take informed decisions even under pressure
• >10 years of relevant experience

As private cloud managed services provider, Enterprise Cloud Services Delivery is offering a key aspect in the intelligent business transformation journey of our customers.

One of SAP’s strategic customers is conducting a transformation program, part of which is to consume their entire SAP landscape as enhanced private cloud model provided by SAP with more than 100 productive systems. To provide the right level of service, a dedicated team has been set up within Enterprise Cloud Services to work for this strategic client. The goal of this team is run a large-scale transition program with the aim to migrate the entire customer SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption
