What do you contribute?

  • You independently manage complex international projects that use cutting-edge electrification technology to help operate railways around the world efficiently and reliably, thereby contributing to sustainable transportation.
  • Within these projects (typically involving a double-digit million-euro budget), you take on the technical leadership of international teams, usually consisting of up to 10 employees.
  • You are responsible for the economic success and customer satisfaction by ensuring that projects are completed on time, with ambitious profitability targets, and at the required level of quality.
  • To achieve this, you lead your project team, establish efficient project structures (project planning), and manage complex project execution in coordination with a globally distributed team and the customer.
  • Together with the commercial project lead, you proactively pursue goals and milestones and ensure entrepreneurial opportunity and risk management.
  • You are responsible for all aspects of the project: you coordinate internal organizational units and manage all stakeholders, including partners and subcontractors.
  • With your excellent communication skills and meaningful reporting, you create transparency for both customers and senior management.

What do you bring along?

  • The foundation for your career is a completed university degree in Electrical Engineering (Diploma/Master), Industrial Engineering (Diploma/Master), or a comparable field.
  • You also bring many years of professional experience in project management.
  • You have a strong project background and extensive experience in the infrastructure/construction sector and/or knowledge of railway or electrification systems.
  • Your project management expertise is supported by relevant certifications such as PM@Siemens PM Level, PMI, or IPMA (C-Level) or higher.
  • Since you work in an international environment, you have excellent English skills and are willing to travel (approx. 20%).
  • German language skills are an advantage.
