Capgemini's Global Insights & Data business line is a market leader in data, platform, and analytics across all regions and sectors, including financial services, consumer products, manufacturing, and life sciences. To work as part of the Insights and Data (I&D) Delivery Management practice, which specializes in data and information-led projects and programs. Your role will be to manage engagements, overseeing projects end-to-end with various clients on different pricing models.

The Opportunity

You will serve as the Engagement Manager (Project Manager), leading client engagements on data & AI projects, and will also be responsible for identifying and shaping new opportunities.

• Define a project plan acceptable to the client and within the constraints of the contract.
• Build a resource profile aligned with the project plan, including an appropriate resource pyramid and onshore/offshore ratios.
• Manage projects daily, ensuring risks, issues, and dependencies are recorded, escalated, and reported appropriately.
• Coordinate daily project activities, ensuring onshore and offshore resources are aligned and working towards common goals.
• Complete project status reports and present updates, including financials, at monthly internal reviews.
• Manage a large team of resources (up to 50 people).
• Maintain a good understanding of commercial management, including project financials, both internally and externally.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Experience managing project teams across multiple locations, both onshore and offshore.
• Comfortable managing technical resources, capable of understanding technical issues, and guiding teams to resolve them.
• Experience delivering projects such as data warehouses, data analysis, master data management, data science, data migration, and reporting.
• Familiar with both structured and agile delivery methodologies; experience as a Scrum Master is particularly valuable.
• Proven ability to lead major pursuits resulting in new or additional business.
• Recognized for effective relationship and commercial management in complex delivery and sales environments.
• Fluent in German (C1 level or above).
