Project Manager/Business Analyst - 1y Fixed Term Contract (f/m/d)

The Client Onboarding & Lifecycle Management Section is responsible for Client Onboarding and lifecycle management.

We handle client onboarding, documentation, data maintenance across systems such as CBL/CBF/LuxCSD, SAP, LEI, and client signature verification as a service.

As a Project Manager/Business Analyst, you will contribute to the Deutsche Börse Group's strategy of modernizing the IT landscape and developing services using cutting-edge technologies.

You will support the IT project lifecycle, developing new and improved client data services. Your main tasks include managing the section’s project portfolio, coordinating project teams, reporting, and communication. You will assist in creating and reviewing business specifications, designing solutions, conducting impact analyses, and executing business tests. A focus will be on enhancing user experience and optimizing processes and workflows.

You will also support the Head of Unit (HoU) and Head of Section (HoS) on ad hoc projects.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
  2. Governance: Oversee project and change initiative portfolios, ensuring alignment with transformation governance and practices.
  3. Planning & Strategy: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders; develop aligned project plans.
  4. Team Leadership & Coordination: Allocate resources, motivate teams, assign tasks, and ensure collaboration across departments.
  5. Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication, provide updates, and manage expectations.
  7. Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards for reliability, usability, and performance.

Business Analysis:

  1. Value Chain Understanding: Comprehend the end-to-end activities and proactively identify risks.
  2. Process Optimization: Review and improve processes; provide recommendations and implement improvements.
  3. Impact Assessments: Evaluate changes, identify dependencies across systems like SAP, KUSTA, AM, Onboarding app.
  4. Solution Design & Validation: Create/review business specifications, validate designs with IT architects, and ensure system validations.
  5. Business Acceptance Testing: Define and execute test cases, handle bug fixes.
  6. Internal Readiness: Prepare operational documentation, organize training, and report on changes.
  7. Data Management: Maintain the data catalog for the section's data.

Your profile:

  1. University degree or equivalent in finance, CS, engineering, economics, or related.
  2. Minimum 5 years relevant experience with expertise in business processes and continuous improvement.
  3. Experience in people management, project management, and service delivery in an international environment.
  4. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and intercultural skills; proactive and versatile.
  5. Experience with SAP, JIRA, Power BI, Agile/Scrum, and testing methodologies; knowledge of banking/post-trading regulations is a plus.
  6. Proficiency in English; French/German skills are advantageous.
  7. Excellent PowerPoint, Excel (pivot tables, formulas), SharePoint skills; entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and proactive mindset.
