Your mission

Overview of the position:
Hours: 70% part-time
Starting date: 01.09.2025
Duration: limited contract until 31.12.2026, with the option to extend until the end of 2029
Location: Tübingen
Department & reporting line: Peace Education, Head of Unit Peace Education

The project "Spurenleser - Das Portal für Entschwörung und Wissen" offers cross-phenomenon multimedia information for interested parties, those affected and multipliers from Hesse (and nationwide). Users can test their knowledge of conspiracy narratives and disinformation in an interactive self-test and expand their knowledge through numerous information offerings (articles, explanatory films, podcasts, infographics, etc.). The involvement of Hessian micro-influencers and social media activities increases and contextualizes the reach of the target group. Expert interviews with representatives of different target groups ensure that content and formats are tailored to the target group.

Your knowledge, experience & skills

About the Berghof Foundation

Your responsibilities
  • You ensure successful implementation of the project and its activities. You actively plan and participate in project-related activities and events (incl. co-facilitation or moderation when possible)
  • You have specific knowledge on conspiracy theories, disinformation, AI and peace education
  • You ensure that a consolidated plan for the entire project cycle incl. financial calculations is in place
  • You develop multimedia learning material like infographs, explanatory films, a podcast. You co-write of news articles and analyses for the portal.
  • You collaborate closely with Finance Managers and colleagues working on project logistics regarding project activities and budget issues
  • You are responsible for donor reporting ensuring internal & external guidelines are met
  • You are responsible for the communication towards project partners/stakeholders
  • You co-decide on project expenditures within project frameworks

Requirements
  • You hold a Master degree within relevant field such as Peace and Conflict Studies, Political Science, International Relations or similar
  • You have several years relevant work experience (project management)
  • You have specific knowledge on conspiracy theories, disinformation, AI and peace education
  • You have several years professional experience with the development of multimedia learning material / content for websites and social media.
  • You possess excellent organizational skills
  • Fluent German and excellent verbal and written language skills in English (at least C1-level)
  • Professional skills in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Teams) complete your profile
