Job Title: Project Manager – ICI Construction

A well-established general contractor with a strong track record in delivering high-quality ICI (Institutional, Commercial, Industrial) construction projects is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through to close-out
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and project alignment
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Oversee project documentation including RFIs, change orders, progress reports, and invoices
- Manage site staff and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and timelines are met
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Provide mentorship and support to junior staff as required
Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Manager role within the ICI construction sector
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects ranging from $5M to $50M in value
- Strong knowledge of Canadian construction codes, standards, and contract formats (e.g., CCDC)
- Proficient with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- PMP certification or related education in construction management or engineering is considered an asset
