Blackedge Consulting is supporting the delivery of hyperscale and colocation data centre developments across the Frankfurt region — one of Europe’s most established mission critical hubs. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven background in data centre delivery to lead highly regulated CAPEX projects in complex, live and fast‑paced environments.

Frankfurt continues to see significant investment driven by cloud expansion and AI infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of large-scale builds where programme certainty, technical coordination and stakeholder management are critical to success.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of data centre projects, ensuring safe, on‑time and on‑budget execution across all phases of development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full project lifecycle delivery from pre‑construction through to commissioning and handover
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across CSA, MEP and specialist mission critical systems
• Oversee programme, cost control, risk management and quality assurance processes
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and supply chain partners within complex live environments
• Ensure compliance with German regulations, client standards and data centre best practice
• Drive stakeholder engagement with hyperscale clients, investors and technical advisors
• Chair project meetings, manage reporting structures and maintain executive‑level communication
• Oversee commissioning strategy and readiness planning for critical infrastructure
• Identify and mitigate commercial and technical risk across high‑value CAPEX programmes

About You

You are an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record delivering data centre or mission critical construction projects in regulated environments.

• Strong understanding of mission critical MEP systems and commissioning processes
• Experience delivering complex CAPEX projects within fast‑track programmes
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary construction and engineering teams
• Strong commercial awareness, including contract management and cost control
• Excellent stakeholder and client‑facing communication skills
• Fluent German and English language skills preferred
• Relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline

PMP, IPMA, or equivalent project management certification is advantageous.
