Project Manager - ServiceNow Implementation (12-Month Contract)

Location: Remote (with ad-hoc visits to client site in Essen, Germany) - Candidates must be based in Germany.

Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract.

Daily Rate: €700 - €750 per day.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver a high-impact ServiceNow implementation project. Operating within a dynamic, growth-oriented environment, you will manage complex projects across multiple geographies, driving value and change for the client.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and deliver projects and workstreams with a focus on Scope, Requirements, Time, Cost, Quality, Risk, and Deliverables/Products/Benefits.
2. Engage with stakeholders including users, managers, IT specialists, SMEs, architects, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
3. Mobilise and lead diverse teams composed of internal staff and external suppliers across organisational and geographical boundaries.
4. Proactively manage variances and changes related to scope, time, cost, and quality, taking appropriate mitigation actions when needed.
5. Facilitate decision-making processes by aligning stakeholder expectations and ensuring timely communication.
6. Provide clear and timely reports on project status, tailored for both business and IT audiences.
7. Apply appropriate collaboration methods considering project needs and constraints.
8. Proactively identify dependencies and synergies with other initiatives and projects.

About You

1. Significant IT experience with a proven track record of successfully delivering larger, complex projects.
2. Ideally, recent experience managing ServiceNow implementations.
3. Extensive knowledge of M365, Active Directory, MS Architecture, Cloud Solutions, Digital Platforms, Infrastructure, Applications, Interfaces, and Data Management.
4. Proficient in stakeholder management, including experience engaging at C-level.
5. Skilled at managing geographically dispersed teams and collaborating with external partners and suppliers.
6. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
7. Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
8. Resourceful and proactive, capable of anticipating unforeseen challenges and developing contingency plans.
9. Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with tools such as Jira.
10. Experience with business and IT processes.
11. Degree educated, with a continuous learning mindset.
12. Native or C1-level German proficiency required, with fluency in English.
13. Experience with operations and Service Management (ITIL) is desirable.
14. Consultancy background is beneficial.
