Zusammenfassung

HEC Solar in Berlin is seeking a Project Manager to lead solar construction initiatives from planning through completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to spec.

You will coordinate with site managers, engineers and subcontractors, manage resources and safety, report progress to management, and maintain strong client and stakeholder communication. Fluency in English and German is required; occasional travel may be needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering studies, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven leadership and site/construction management experience in solar/renewable projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and environmental standards.

PROJECT MANAGER in (Berlin) GERMANY

Main responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Managing all aspects of a project from planning and execution to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and resolve any on-site issues promptly.
• Resource Management: Manage site resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Tracking progress, monitoring milestones, and ensuring adherence to the project plan. Regularly report on project progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other professionals to maintain clear communication and resolve issues.
• Budget Management: Support in monitoring and controlling project budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
• Site Management: Oversee all on-site activities, including construction, installation, and maintenance of solar power infrastructure.
• Safety Compliance: Support and control compliance with all regulations and internal rules.
• Quality Control: Monitor and control high-quality construction standards, ensuring that the project meets design specifications and industry best practices.
• Environmental Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with environmental regulations and sustainable practices.

The successful profile:

• Professional level of English & German language.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering studies, Architecture, a related field.
• Proven experience in site management or construction management, with a focus on solar power or renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of professionals and labourers.
• MS Office (command of Excel and MS Project) and Auto CAD.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainable construction practices is a plus.

• This role requires the employee to be permanently located in (Berlin), Germany, and able to work locally on an ongoing basis.
