Are you ready to shape the future of renewable energy? We are partnered with a leading renewable energy developer and utility in Germany, who are expanding its team and seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to ensure safety compliance and best practices across its wind, solar and energy storage projects.

About the Role

As an HSE Manager, you will be responsible for providing safety advisory services and ensuring the implementation of safety standards across construction and operational sites throughout Germany. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and contributing to the success of renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide HSE guidance and support to construction and operations teams at multiple project sites.
• Develop and maintain health & safety documentation, risk assessments, and safety concepts.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, standards, and best practices in renewable energy projects.
• Evaluate and advise on the procurement of operational equipment, tools, and PPE.
• Investigate and document workplace incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Deliver safety training, briefings, and crisis management exercises for staff.

Your Profile

• A technical qualification (Technician, Master Craftsman) or a degree in engineering or natural sciences.
• Several years of experience in HSE management within a technical environment, ideally in onshore wind, solar, or storage.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Fluent in German, with good English skills (B2 level).
• A Class B driving license and willingness to travel to project sites across Germany.
