Qualifikationen

• 8+ Jahre Erfahrung in Logistik/Produktion, idealerweise mit PMO/Operations Management.
• Erfahrung in der Leitung von Projekten für neue Standorte und Geografien.

Job Description

DP World is looking to recruit a Project Launch Manager (f/m/d). Within this growing team, you will serve as primary liaison to stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle. You will be responsible for delivering every project on time within budget and scope.

We are looking for project managers who have experience within contract logistics working specifically as warehouse operations. Unfortunately, you will be rejected if you do not have this experience.

About the Role

How you will contribute

1. Work at a senior management level, taking ownership and leading business-critical projects, new business, business expansions, and customer product launches.
2. Serve as the primary liaison to internal/external stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle.
3. Lead a cross-functional team on an international basis.
4. Manage key project KPIs (schedule, deliverables, and budget). Provide project status reports and identify risks and issues impacting project completion.
5. Manage project budgets (CAPEX and launch costs), and implement actions to resolve cost overruns.
6. Define project scope and obtain sign-off, then lead the change management process.
7. Present project status reports to senior executive level.
8. Travel up to 100% of a working week.

What you will bring

1. Degree or equivalent qualification. Recognized project management certifications (PRINCE 2, APMP, PMP) are advantageous; relevant experience may be considered in lieu.
2. 8+ years' experience in logistics/manufacturing, ideally with PMO/Operations Management experience.
3. Experience leading projects for new sites and new geographies from launch to operational handover.
4. Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, WRIKE, etc.).
5. Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages like German or Dutch are a plus.
6. Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to translate ideas into action.
7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, maintaining integrity across all management levels.
8. Ability to handle time pressure in dynamic operations while maintaining enthusiasm and energy.
9. Experience in Engineering / Six Sigma is a plus.
