Project Engineer Specialist - Civil Engineering (w/m/d), Wülfrath

Location: Wülfrath, Germany

Our main administration is located in Wülfrath, in the Düsseldorf-Essen-Wuppertal triangle. We are currently looking to fill a position in our 'Civil Engineering/Technical Engineering LGE' team:

  • Participation, coordination, and proper execution of CAPEX, OPEX, and demolition projects at various locations
  • Project management and monitoring: cost and schedule control
  • Assistance and coordination in the preparation of building permit documents
  • Participation in topics related to CO2-neutral production and the transformation path of the lime industry
  • Development of future-oriented concepts under the theme 'Fit for the Future'
  • Preparation of tender documents and specifications, technical bid comparisons, and evaluation of offers, as well as awarding and invoicing services
  • Coordination tasks, site supervision, and commissioning of investment facilities
  • Technical consulting for construction project planning
  • Conducting site assessments and safety inspections
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and internal regulations regarding safety, environmental protection, and emissions
  • Responsibility for project quality, process optimization, and adherence to standards
  • Documentation of accidents, near-misses, and unsafe situations, and implementation of corrective measures

Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management (steel and solid construction)
  • Excellent knowledge of the development of construction projects, especially earthwork, steel, and solid construction
  • Understanding of mechanical engineering, piping, and conveyor technology is advantageous
  • Knowledge of the stone and earth industry and raw material sector is beneficial
  • Familiarity with industry standards and legal regulations
  • Strong cost awareness and customer-oriented thinking
  • High safety consciousness
  • Good organizational and communication skills, agility, problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in CAD, SAP, COUPA, MS Office
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written

Additional Information:
