At Airbus Operations GmbH in Bremen, you will take on a key role as a Project Engineer for Composite Technologies, driving the development and qualification of innovative composite materials for hybrid aircraft structures. In an international, agile team environment, you will shape innovations that are built to last – technically, economically, and sustainably.

The gross annual salary ranges from €82,500 to €85,400, depending on qualifications. Please note: We can only consider candidates with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visas).

Job description
Tasks
  • Develop, qualify, and implement robust materials and processes for composite and hybrid structures in aerospace applications
  • Align with internal stakeholders on project scope, budgets, and objectives
  • Create technical and financial project progress reports
  • Contribute to research and development projects with internal and external partners
  • Support material testing and design activities, particularly in the field of composites
  • Work in agile, international project teams with an open and collaborative communication culture
Requirements
  • Completed degree in Materials Science, or equivalent qualification as a technician/specialist in engineering or chemistry
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering, including at least one year in material testing
  • Solid knowledge of project management
  • Experience in material design and process development is an advantage
  • Confident use of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • Very good command of English (minimum level B2)
  • A valid, unrestricted EU work permit (no student visa) is mandatory
  • CV in English required
