Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Lead to coordinate and manage engineering activities for Battery Energy Storage Systems and power infrastructure across the EMEA region. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering, project engineering, or project execution in power/renewable energy utilities.
• Experience designing or supporting utility-scale power systems, PV plants, battery energy storage systems, or related infrastructure.
• Knowledge of EPC project execution and applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations in the EMEA region.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills; effective communication and stakeholder management; English proficiency; additional European languages advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and manage engineering activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and power infrastructure projects across the EMEA region.
• Manage external engineering firms, subcontractors, and internal civil, electrical, network, and permitting teams.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet contractual requirements, project specifications, constructability standards, quality standards, and regional design considerations.
• Coordinate and lead internal and external design review meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Promote value engineering initiatives and innovative approaches to improve system design, constructability, and project efficiency.
• Support procurement by developing technical specifications, reviewing vendor documentation, and assessing technical proposals.
• Review engineering designs for alignment with project requirements and contractual commitments.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project execution.
• Manage technical escalations and coordinate resolution of engineering issues.
• Support project safety initiatives and align engineering activities with company safety objectives.
• Improve engineering processes, project execution methods, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Travel throughout the EMEA region for project execution, customer meetings, site activities, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Additional technical certifications or specialized engineering training are beneficial
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering, project engineering, or project execution within the power, renewable energy, battery storage, or utility sectors
• Experience designing or supporting utility-scale power systems, photovoltaic plants, battery energy storage systems, or related infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project execution
• Familiarity with applicable electrical codes, industry standards, and regulations within the EMEA region
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Professional proficiency in English
• Additional European language skills are considered an advantage
• Company-required safety training certifications
• International travel health certifications where required for specific project locations
