Zusammenfassung

PORR is expanding its data center activities and seeks an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a large‑scale data center construction project. The role covers the full project lifecycle from concept design and tender through commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, construction management, or a comparable qualification.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in large‑scale construction projects.
• At least 5 years’ experience in mission‑critical or data center environments.
• Proven cross‑disciplinary coordination experience (civil, structural, architectural, MEP).
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and Tier standards (Uptime or equivalent).
• Proven ability to manage budgets over EUR 100 M and lead large, multicultural project teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of German construction law and administrative procedures.
• Ability to work in a multi‑tasking environment and under time pressure.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or comparable.
• Fluency in English; German or Polish language skills advantageous.
