Zusammenfassung

PORR is looking for an experienced Project Director to lead a large-scale data center construction project from concept through commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives are met in line with client expectations.

The role requires strategic leadership across all phases, managing multidisciplinary teams, contracts, resources, and stakeholders, with budgets over EUR100M and close collaboration with design, procurement, and commissioning teams.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, construction management, or comparable qualification
• Minimum 10 years' experience in large-scale construction projects
• At least 5 years' experience in mission-critical or data center environments
• Proven cross-disciplinary coordination experience (civil, structural, architectural, MEP)
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and Tier standards (Uptime or equivalent)
• Proven ability to manage budgets over EUR100M and lead large, multicultural project teams
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of German construction law and administrative procedures
• Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment and under time pressure
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or comparable) desirable
• Fluency in English; German or Polish language skills advantageous
