Zusammenfassung

PORR is expanding its data center activities and seeks a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day execution of a large data center construction project. The role integrates construction, design, procurement, planning, commercial, QA/QC, EHS, and commissioning into a single plan.

The candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary workstreams, manage subcontractors and internal teams, and drive progress using programme controls, risk and change management.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering or another relevant construction discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in large construction projects.
• Experience in data center, mission-critical, high-tech industrial, or MEP-heavy projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, design coordination, procurement, and commissioning interfaces.
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Good knowledge of programme control, risk management, reporting, and change management.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA or comparable.
• Fluency in English; German or Polish language skills advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Manage day-to-day project execution and prioritisation across the project team.

• Prepare progress updates, risk logs, action trackers, and decision records for management and client meetings.
• Coordinate RFIs, design issues, procurement constraints, and site blockers with relevant team members.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and support recovery actions where necessary.
• Support change control, progress validation, commercial records, and contract correspondence.
• Escalate issues affecting safety, programme, cost, quality, commissioning, or client milestones.
